Stormy Week

It was a dark and stormy week. (We also saw lots of sunshine, but afternoon and evening storms are common here in the late spring and summer.) Here are three Skywatch Friday photos from this week, taken on three successive days at my house.

Friday at dusk.
Saturday evening.
Sunday afternoon.

Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa

This week I'll start posting my photos of Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, in the beautiful town of San Luis Obispo in California. It was founded in 1772 and due to restorations is in beautiful condition.
I love this covered walkway.

Baileyana Vineyards

Lisse Flowers

Here is the last of my 1977 flower photos from Holland. This time it's a tulip field near Lisse, scanned from an old slide.
I'm linking this to Floral Friday and Vintage Weekly.

I'm going back to last March for this post, of some lovely Colorado skies taken on a hike around Monument Rock. That cloud looks so happy!
You can usually find a view in some direction...

This is the scene outside my house today, May 12, after 7 inches (18cm) of fresh snow yesterday and overnight.
I'm ready for winter to end - bring on the warmth! See Our World Tuesday for hot photos from around the world.

May Snow

This was the scene that greeted me in my yard this morning when I woke up.
It was 79 °F (26 °C) at my house a couple of days ago, and now we're getting snow! Visit Skywatch Friday for warmer scenes.

Reagan Museum Views

Finishing up my sequence of posts on the Ronald Reagan Library & Museum are some views from the grounds. It's situated on a hill, and this creates for some pleasant scene.
